Beauty and Fitness with Saved by the Bell
Today was a good day. A co-worker of mine randomly picked up my favorite tea from Starbucks (Vanilla Rooibos) just for me because she knows how much I love it.
I always feel like a dork when I order it because I never know if I’m pronouncing it correctly. I also purposely mumble the last part and cross my fingers hoping the person taking my order understands what I mean.
Anyway, don’t you just love little acts of kindness? Even something as simple as a cup of tea can make someone’s day. 🙂
And if you have not tried rooibos tea, you should definitely do so. It is rich in antioxidants and is supposedly good for digestive health as well. Drink up!
I’m also so excited today because I just learned that Candace Cameron Bure has released a new book about eating well and getting in shape. I used to idolize her when I was a kid, and I even got to meet her in 1994 at an autograph signing in NYC.
Actually, I humiliated myself in front of her. I was so excited to meet her that I got really flustered and knocked over her life sized cardboard cut-out, and I also froze right there in front of her after she signed my paper. The bodyguards had to shove me away.
If I get starstruck over a Full House cast member, can you imagine how I’d be if I met Lionel Richie?!!

I’ve had this book since I was in 7th grade and just never had the heart to part with it.
Look at Zack and Kelly at the Max! They were my favorite couple way back when. I cried in my room when Kelly dumped Zack for that nasty college boy Jeff. Unfortunately, I’m not kidding.

The “Saved by the Bell” girls enjoy eating pasta, whole grain breads, fruits, and vegetables.
